You will find some useful instructions below on how to improve the signal in your device in case you happen to be in need. The more users a network transmitter has, the worse signal you get. This is called "cell breathing" - it reduces the radio coverage inside the cell which is the capacity to catch the singal from the transmitter when the intensity of traffic increases. The operators also warn us about the "white spots" in elevators, underground parking lots, underpasses etc.

The problems with signal can also occur in mountains, woods - trees can actually be a very good signal blocker.

When you happen to be in a "white spot" it usually helps when you slightly change your position. But what to do when walking around in search for signal doesn't bring any positive results? Sometimes the easiest opiton could be the best option. The GSM network could catch the signal from up to 8 kilometers of distance wherase in 3G this distance is significantly smaller. In the first network you are still able to surf the Internet although the connection may be smaller.

In order to do that: 1. Go to Settings 2. Choose the option More Networks in the Connection settings. Then tap on Mobile Networks. Find the Network mode. Change the Network from 3G to 2G. The other more advanced option is to use a special device which is called a reapeter and its purpose is to strenghten the signal. The external antenna catches the signal which then is transmitted via communication cable to the device which is located inside of the building.

The price of such a device varies and depends on the size of the building. It is usually quite small and you can put it anywhere in the room. Remember that the higher the antenna is located, the better the signal is. If you need an antenna for a bigger building we would recommend hiring a company which specializes in that field.

If you still have big problems with catching a signal, we would recommend changing the Operator - maybe the cause of your problems lies there. How to reset LG Escape Plus? When did you start having problems?

After the latest update? I think it is a problem with the Wifi calling feature. After trying wifi calling and having problems the other person couldn't hear meI decided to turn it off. After turning it off I started having crazy issues - the wifi calling would turn on even though I had turned it off. After turning off wifi completely, data wouldn't work so I rebooted the phone. After rebooting the phone, I couldn't get a signal at all.

I tried rebooting the phone multiple times but the signal wouldn't come back. I switched SIMs and it still wouldn't work. At this point I was thinking there was a hardware problem with the phone so I was considering calling ZTE to get a new one. But I tried one last thing - I turned wifi back on and made a wifi call - the signal came back! So it is a software problem. So I turned on wifi calling again but configured for "cellular preferred".

To keep the phone stable I have now unfortunately had to setup the phone with "Wifi Calling Preferred". Thankfully soon after I did this I started getting error "REG Missing address" so it doesn't try to use wifi calling anymore. No point calling ZTE support because their phone support is appallingly bad. They won't understand the issue, they won't give me a ticket number. All they will say is either "reset the phone" or try to send me a new phone which will just make me lose time and lose data.

Information has been provided on these forums that this is largely because of a hardware design compromise made by ZTE to allow for larger speakers at the expense of antennas.

In addition, the modem firmware is buggy and doesn't cope very well in environments where cellular signal is weak. The phone too easily loses the signal completelyand is slow to reacquire, especially the data.

It is normal to use third party software to prod Axon 7 to reconnect to data. Some will try to blame Axon 7's aluminum body for it's poor reception performance; however, this is not convincing to me as other phones with similar builds do not suffer the same problems.

I have read the same thing. Constant dropped calls and recordings of "We are unable to complete your call as dialed. Please try again later. But Sprint's data was horrible and slow.

Gosh, I wonder if Ggreg is right and its a design flaw? I have taken it to remote areas as well and have not experienced any issues - so far. Over the past 5 days I have experience 12 missed calls or calls going to Voice Mail. In my business I cant afford this to happen. If I'm under a tower its no problem! Personally, I don't agree that this is a design flaw.

I find that within the metro area I'm fine regarding coverage most of the time, however I noticed where I once had great coverage outside of the metro area that I'm now finding reduced signal strength issues.

I checked my Open Signal app and find that such areas I once had coverage still shows good coverage for most. This isn't a deal killer for me as I'm too much a believer in ZTE. Hopefully the company does an upgrade sometime in the nearby future and possibly fixes this minor issue.

ZTE Avid Plus Pros & Cons Review

Yeah, there's always hope. Though the fact that ZTE just can't get it right over so many patches after B29, it's starting to look like good modem performance on B29 was some kind of an accident. My phone has bad reception combined with bad radios. My Axon 7 has always had problems with the radios cycling, shutting off, choosing the wrong band, and even choosing the wrong carrier.

Since the last two updates, the radios almost always cycle shortly after waking the phone. After updating to b25 my wifi and cellular signals went to sht. Would randomly drop and I confirmed this using WiFi analyzer.

The only solution for me was to rollback to b Radios work fine now. I Guess I can never update my A7 ever again. My radios are the same as they were when I purchased the device. There are a few ZTE Axon 7 problems here and there that can pop up and ruin a good time. Smartphones have been known to freeze or crash, oftentimes without warning, and the Axon 7 is no different.

If your phone has been doing either of these things, there are a couple of things you can try to fix it and get it running like normal. There are some scenarios in which you can send emails just fine, but are unable to receive any emails. While this may initially seem like a larger problem, there are some very simple things to check to address this issue and get back to receiving emails as intended.

Some people have found that the ZTE Axon 7 can occasionally get hot during the charging process. Fortunately, there are ways to check the phone to determine the cause. The Axon 7 has a Quick Charge feature that allows it to be charged within a relatively short amount of time. While the Axon 7 touts fantastic battery life, some users can experience excessive battery drain, even after the phone has been fully charged, and without heavily using their phone. This is yet another problem that can, and has, occurred with other smartphones, and the methods to check and save battery life are largely the same.

Luckily, there are a few things you can try to get the feature working again. How to set up Xbox Game Streaming and play games on your phone 16 hours ago. How to use recovery mode to fix your Android phone or tablet 1 day ago.
